Our courses are bespoke to provide individuals, organisations and different community groups with meaningful content and experiences. In June 2017, MEANINGFUL EDUCATION Ltd.CIC has expanded its services in collaboration with Total Family Coaching & Parenting CIC, offering additional training, workshops, parenting groups and young people services.

Meaningful Daily Activities (MDA)


We can provide a 1 day workshop or a 1 day per week programme over a 4 week period, covering the Key Points:

Understanding Dementia 

This course aims to raise awareness of Dementia, by understanding and recognising the symptoms and the overall support options for the person living with Dementia. This one day course offers:

- Relevant up-to-date Information 
- Activities to Understand Mental Health/Dementia
- Understanding the Importance of Meaningful Daily Activities 
- How to Manage Behaviour that Challenges 
- Dementia Friends Information Session 
- Awareness Raising Events 
- How to find Further Support 

Understanding Mental Health

This one day training programme can be provided in your chosen facility or at locations provided by Meaningful Education.​​​

Preserving Dignity Training

As part of the Bedfordshire Dignity Network we want Bedfordshire to be recognised as a place where everyone is treated with dignity and respect; creating a dignified community for an improved quality of life for all. Our 2 day course will cover the following:

Course Bookings

Bookings are made via the website, email or by telephone. All bookings will be confirmed in writing by email (or letter if email not available) prior to the course start date and payment is due before the course date.

Payment terms
Course bookings can be paid for in the following ways:

Cheque: Payable to ‘MEANINGFUL EDUCATION LTD CIC’ and sent to the registered address found at the bottom of this page.
Cheques should be sent at least 14 days before the course start date to allow time for clearance

Corporate Bookings

If payment by invoice/on account has been previously agreed, the payment needs to be made either 14 days from the date of invoice or 7 days prior to the course start date, whichever is first. We reserve the right not to provide the course should payment not of been made.

CERTIFICATION WILL BE HELD UNTIL FULL PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECIEVED

Cancellations

If for whatever reason you need to cancel your place on a course the following fees are applicable- Please note the percentages retained by Meaningful Education Ltd. CIC.
Less than 1 month (if applicable) prior to the course start date – 25% of the course fee retained
Less than two weeks prior to the course start date – 50% of the course fee retained
One week or less – 100% of the course fee will be retained.
NB. Cancellation must be made in writing via email or letter and received before the course is due to start

Non-attendance

If you do not attend a course, and you have not previously informed us, the full course fee remains payable.

Late arrivals/missed sessions

If you arrive late for a course or are absent from any session, we reserve the right to refuse to accept you for training, without liability, if we feel you will gain insufficient knowledge or skill in the time remaining. In all such cases, the full course fee remains payable.
Course Cancellation

If for any reason, we have to cancel a course you will be given as much notice as possible and the option of a free transfer to another course date or a full refund of fees paid will be made.

Assessment

Depending on the course that you are attending, you may be required to pass a practical and /or written assessment. The trainer reserves the right not to issue a certificate if the student does not show proper knowledge and learning throughout the course and subsequently does not pass any written assessment at the end of the course.

Distance Selling Regulations 2000

We abide by the applicable elements of the Distance Selling Regulations 2000.
